As part of GIZ’s support to help some selected MMDA’s to improve the mobilization of their IGF digitally through the use of the dlRev software, on the 16th of September, 2021, GIZ through its regional coordinating team presented some eight (8) number of Tablets to the Kassena Nankana west district assembly to be used by revenue collectors for the collection of revenue.
The use of this software for revenue collection will help to revenue unit to print bills, collect and record payment digitally hence the assembly the monitor those who have paid and have not paid, the number of parcels / properties and businesses within the district and the total amount of revenue to be generated.
The representative of the DCE, Mr. Issahaku Sorku expressed how grateful the assembly is towards this gesture. In his statement he said the assembly is lucky to be one of the MMDAs selected by GIZ and will put this technology to good use.
