2ND ORDINARY MEETING OF THE KASSENA NANAKANA WEST DISTRICT ASSEMBLY

The District Chief Executive for the Kassena-Nankana West District in the Upper East Region, Hon. Stephen Akurugo Aeke Has Disclosed that the Assembly will soon commence the construction of befitting toilet facilities for all basic schools in the district that never had some as well as for those with dilapidated ones. He was speaking this Friday at the
Assembly’s 2nd Ordinary Meeting held on 31st Oct. 2025 in Paga.
The DCE also touched on the need for the Assembly to create a conducive environment for all-year-round farming, which he said the Assembly will do by undertaking massive desilting of a number of dams across the district.
Hon. Akurugo further spoke about the FEED GHANA PROJECT, revealing that the Department of Agriculture was in the process of registering farmers who wished to enrol on the project. He urged Hon. Members to sensitise their people to register and get the laudable benefits of the project.
